Like Mother, Like Daughter

Mum Rachel needs Bear’s help to repair her bond with 21-year-old daughter Venice. Rachel is desperate to build a loving and respectful relationship between them – one she feels she missed out on with her own mother.

The pair have had a fractured history, and Rachel even had to give her daughter up for several years as a child while she battled addiction. They’re both adults now, but their fiery clashes have continued and are getting out of hand.

In a bid to get them co-operating, Bear sets them a kayaking task. Can they keep calm and communicate to collect essential items for their night in the wild from out on the lake?

With their camp set up for the night, psychologist Tara guides them through a stormy fireside chat – where tempers flare and emotions run high. Will their time in the wild help them create a better future together?
