Tonight it’s the very first “Always Check the Label” – a deep dive into the stories behind the record labels shaping the music we love. From the ethos that drives them, to the groundbreaking releases that define them.

Joining Huw in the studio is Mike Lewis from Lewis Recordings. Mike takes us through the label’s journey and creative mission, from its roots in the UK underground to its eclectic roster that spans hip‑hop, soul, jazz and beyond. Artists linked with the label, including Edan, Skinshape, and DJ Yoda.
