DeafKidz International

DeafKidz International works to safeguard and protect deaf children around the world from abuse and neglect. We deliver educational programmes to reduce their risks of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse and neglect, and create inclusive opportunities for them to fully realise their potential.

An overlooked crisis

An overlooked crisis
There are 32 million deaf children worldwide. Many experience stigma, isolation and limited access to support. They can struggle to express their needs or be understood. This increases their vulnerability.

Learning to stay safe

Learning to stay safe
DeafKidz International uses play-based learning and computer games with animated super heroes to teach deaf children how to recognise abuse, seek help and stay safe. We also train parents, teachers and communities to protect deaf children.

Growing up strong

Growing up strong
Every deaf child deserves to be protected, included and empowered to reach their full potential. Your support can provide life-changing skills to deaf children to protect themselves from abuse and exploitation and be safe from fear.
