Classical music for your journey
Take time out with 30 minutes of back to back classical music, including works by William Grant Still, Gabriel Fauré, Philippe de Monte and Michel Legrand.
30 minutes of back to back classical music to help you wind down at the end of a busy day. Today's sequence begins with a moonlit forest at dusk, as depicted by William Grant Still, and a riverside lament by the Renaissance Flemish composer Philipps de Monte. Prokofiev's Classical Symphony and Fauré's wistful Faintaisie for flute sit alongside Ravel's impish "Il Pantoum" from his piano trio, and the day comes full circle with Handel's contemplative duet "As Steals the Morn". The thoughtful mood continues as the mixtape ends with an enchanting arrangement for 12 cellos of "The Windmills of your Mind" by Michel Legrand.
