Alsager's biggest voice serves up a treat from the Music Awards of Staffordshire & Cheshire. Plus more of the winners from the New Vic Theatre. With Phillip Stoneman.

Warning: This show may contain future headliners! Phillip Stoneman introduces the best new music from our area, including:

• More highlights from the Music Awards of Staffordshire & Cheshire - including the winner of the inaugural Mike Lloyd contribution award - someone putting on close to a thousand acts on stages around the area for the past decade and a half. Running nights at The Glebe in Stoke, we celebrate a legend of the scene, Annie Bellyou.

• Also winning a glorious Slash-inspired trophy was an act picking up thousands of public votes. Featuring Jessie James from Ashley near Loggerheads and Nathan from Burslem, discover Jessie & The Revolvers, veterans of stages all over the country, including our own at Port Vale FC.

• In our Musicians' Masterclass: Albrighton's Nieve Ella opens up on authenticity and when the time is right to press pause.

• Did someone say BBC Radio 1? Meet the Alvechurch musician who's just bagged herself a playlist spot in a testament to her infectious RnB sound picking up gigs in front of hundreds across the country and around the world.

• In the Music News: The K-Pop shop in Shrewsbury who have seen a surge in customers thanks to the success of 'Demon Hunters', The ring-leader bringing 'The Greatest Show' to the Three Counties Showground in Malvern and a DJ who has raised over £2000 for charity thanks to his dance night in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

• He's got a penchant for performance, having honing his craft on stages up and down the country. From wowing audiences in the Wyre Forest to becoming a full-time busker, discover how you never know when or where you might find a fan of Kidderminster pop act, Jayden Shewry.

• Meet this week's featured artist: Working at the intersection of RnB and modern pop, clocking up over 100 million streams and working with producers and orchestras all over the world, get to know Gobowen native Miller Blue.

• Live music from the New Vic Theatre in Newcastle, an astonishing performance from Alsager's Walter Kocays. A veteran of the scene and Glastonbury at only 27 years old, he's also at the helm of sessions to spot and nurture talent who'd blow Ed Sheeran out the water.
