This week, Mark shares live performances from Celtic Connections 2026.
Between 15th January and 1st February, 300 events take place in venues around Glasgow. Winter festival Celtic Connections attracts a brilliant blend of folk and roots acts; some of them will visit the BBC's Pacific Quay studios, and Mark shares a selection of live performances recorded by BBC Radio Scotland.
Tonight's featured artists are Kris Drever, Assynt, The Occasionals, Astro Bloc and Emily Smith.
Kris premieres a song from his new album, Doing This For Love, and Emily sings a Robert Burns song. Top ceilidh band The Occasionals are marking 40 years together.
