Turning Detective

The women work together to reveal the true identity of their catfish. However, as more victims and evidence come to light, the women are forced to take matters into their own hands.

Dr David’s victims begin comparing their stories, and it becomes clear they are dealing with a sophisticated catfish. But nothing could prepare them for the shocking truth of the perpetrator’s true identity, which leaves the women with more questions than answers. But when beauty queen Abbie takes these findings to the police, they are unable to do anything about it, and the Catfish of Kilmarnock remains free to target more and more victims.

Abbie can’t walk away, and steps up her investigation over months that turn into years. As she continues to track the catfish, the scale of their criminality comes into focus, with victims spread across the country and dating back over a decade. This is one of the UK’s most prolific ever catfish, and they are not done yet.
