Carols for Christmastide

In this joyful singalong, Pam Rhodes celebrates the fourth day of Christmas with hymns and carols reflecting on the birth of Jesus and the visit of the Three Wise Men.

In a programme packed with music, Pam Rhodes visits Launde Abbey in Leicestershire to mark the fourth day of Christmas. She shares joyful hymns and carols reflecting on the birth of Jesus and the visit of the Three Wise Men to the newborn King, and Sean Fletcher reads the Bible story from Matthew, chapter 2, verses 1 to 5 and 7 to 12.

There’s plenty to sing along to, including: God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen, from St Michael and All Angels Church in Croston; O Little Town of Bethlehem, led by the Salvation Army at Nottingham William Booth Memorial Halls; We Three Kings, from the Victoria Hall in Bolton; As with Gladness Men of Old, from St Andrew the Apostle Church, Holt, in Norfolk; Like a Candle Flame - God Is with Us, Alleluia, led by Graham Kendrick at St David’s Church in Exeter; Here I Am to Worship, led by Tim Hughes at Gas Street, Birmingham; and Lord for the Years, from Sheffield City Hall.

Plus two wonderful performances: I Saw Three Ships, from Huddersfield Choral Society, and Mary, Did You Know?, by Naomi Simon, Young Chorister of the Year 2022.
