Papa Panov, a shoemaker, is feeling lonely on Christmas Eve.
His wife died many years ago and his children have all grown up and left.
But in a dream he is visited by Jesus, who promises to visit Papa Panov on Christmas Day.
Panov meets different characters throughout the day, but will Jesus be among them?
Written by French 19th-century author, Ruben Saillens.
