It’s that time of year again, and to round out the Late Junction calendar for 2025 Verity Sharp digs back through some of our sonic highlights from the past 12 months of adventurous listening, with a little help along the way from Late Junction family and friends. En route we encounter surreal vocal improvisations and dizzying basslines courtesy of Rian Treanor & Cara Tolmie, an intimate performance from the “golden voice of Africa” aka Mali’s Salif Keita, and future ancestral rhythms from sibling duo Los Thuthanaka.
