Joining forces with The BBC Concert Orchestra, Tony Christie steps in to studio 3 at the iconic Maida Vale studios to bring the curtain down on The Radio 2 Piano Room for 2025.

From a Yorkshire pit town to the glittering West End, to Glastonbury and everywhere in between, our final Radio 2 Piano Room guest of 2025 has thrilled fans around the world and sold millions of records along the way.

He also has the honour of being the only Piano Room guest to have appeared in a music video with music legends Queen, The Happy Mondays AND Ronnie Corbett - it is, of course, Tony Christie.

Still packing out theatres at the age of 82, Tony’s ‘Up Close & Un Plugged’ tour continues in to 2026, and earlier this year he released his lastest album 'A New Life', which he recorded in Nashville.

Tony will be performing a couple of classics alongside a very special cover version, and he'll be doing it with The BBC Concert Orchestra, all from the hallowed surroundings of Studio 3 at Maida Vale.
