It’s the second leg for road trip newbie Briony 'Bee' Harford and seasoned pro Raj Bisram, cruising through Hampshire in style in their all-electric Karmann Ghia.
Keen to impress, Bee has her eye on a very fine piece of furniture – though it comes with a hefty price tag. Meanwhile, ever the strategist, Raj uncovers a rare document signed by none other than the Sun King, Louis XIV. But will it fetch a king’s ransom in the saleroom?
Their journey includes a detour to a historic steamship, once used to haul a rather unsavoury cargo. Now restored, it stands as a proud symbol of Britain’s maritime heritage. The pair lend a hand with some maintenance work – with mixed results.
At the auction, will it be full steam ahead for Bee and her bold buys, or plain sailing for Raj and his regal relic?
