Every ounce of Scottish football from the SPFL to the Sunday league ringers. It means everything, it means nothing, and this is the view of the fans on the terrace.

A View From The Terrace is your weekly dose of Scottish football from the point of view of the fans.

It’s the last show of 2025, so Telfer, Joel and Fowler look back on the highs and lows of the season so far. They look at the winners and losers from across the leagues, including the unlikely title challengers in the Championship to the team fighting for their very existence in League One.

Which teams will still be in the hunt when we return in 2026, and whose bubbles will burst?

With Christmas on the horizon, we have raided club shops across the country to bring you the very best, but mostly just the worst, of the tat being punted to fans by their clubs. From the bargain buckets to the latest releases, these are the must-have Christmas presents for the Scottish football fan in your life.

Which team is flogging a rugby jersey? Which famous mascot has been immortalised in a keyring? And what does the most expensive chocolate in Scottish football actually taste like?

There are some massive events taking place in Scottish football this week, starting with the Scottish Cup third round at the weekend and finishing with the excitement of the World Cup draw in America. Who do we want to face, where do we want to travel to, and what do the rest of the teams make of the prospect of drawing Scotland?

In this week’s wee film, we meet the eccentric new owner of Dumbarton FC who is putting personal turmoil behind him and investing his life and soul into the ailing League Two club. Oh, and he’s brought his guitar with him…

It’s the midway point in The Banker and somebody will be celebrating taking the Eamonn Brophy Lone Wolf Trophy home for Christmas. And, before we leave, we are making our Scottish football wish lists for Santa Claus.
