Kim Wilde at the BBC
A look back into the BBC music archives for the best of Kim Wilde's appearances on a range of shows, including classic performances of such hits as Water on Glass and Rage to Love.
She exploded into the charts with Kids in America and became the UK’s most successful female solo star of 1980s – and now Kim Wilde gets her own BBC retrospective, sharing her favourite musical moments and memories from across the years.
Kim’s journey back in time through the BBC’s music archives features the best of her many appearances on a range of shows from across the decades, including classic 80s performances on Wogan, Saturday Superstore, Going Live and, of course, lots of Top of the Pops – right up to 2024’s triumphant show at Radio 2 in the Park.
The collection naturally features hits like Water on Glass, Rage to Love, and Kim’s classic cover of the Supremes’ You Keep Me Hangin’ On, plus occasional bonuses such as the rarely seen duet A Short Term Affair with Tony Ferrino, aka Steve Coogan.
