Top-tier auctioneers Phil Serrell and Tahmina Ghaffar are revving up for a lively antiques adventure across Merseyside and Cheshire. Starting in the heart of Liverpool, the duo hit the road in a roaring, souped-up 1959 Ford Popular that turns heads... and ears!
At the shops, Phil plumps for some of his trademark 'big rusty lumps', snapping up a Mexican hat pig feeder, while Tahmina opts for elegance with a delicately hand-painted Chinese glass bottle, decorated from the inside with remarkable precision.
But it’s not all antiques and oddities. The pair take a detour to try their hand at netting some molluscs and uncover the inspiring story of a pioneering woman who challenged the scientific establishment to become one of the world’s leading conchologists.
With treasures in tow, it’s off to auction, where they hope the bidders will also be shelling out.
