Richard Blackwood steps up as Spoony's Rewind Selector. The nephew of R&B singer Junior Giscombe, Richard began his career as a stand up comic in the mid-1990s before moving into TV presenting MTV Select. In 1999, Richard presented The Richard Blackwood Show and a year later embarked on his musical career, landing a #3 hit with 'Mama (Who Da Man)', a cover of his uncle Junior's tune 'Mama Used To Say'. Since then, Richard has starred on stage in Cat On A Hot Tin Roof and Shrek The Musical and in soaps Eastenders and Hollyoaks. Richard is currently featuring as a team captain on ITV's comedy panel show 'Sorry I Didn't Know', taking viewers on a tour of Black British history with a healthy helping of comedy.
