Telfer is joined by OG panel members Joel Sked and Craig Fowler to chat about training-ground mishaps, goals from the halfway line and Martin O’Neill’s ‘drip’.

In the era of global streaming, we discuss the present and the future of football on TV, from combating the use of illegal sticks to the sanctity of the Saturday 3pm kick-off time. With Saturday evening kick-offs now finally back on the agenda too, and a host of tasty top-flight derbies, what would make the ideal viewing experience for the Scottish football couch potato?

In this week’s wee film, we meet the Scottish football comedian who is making a career out of laughing at his own team’s misery and follow him as he tries out some stand-up comedy on a live audience.

Nowadays every team has their own club TV output, and we celebrate the commentators who have found fame there. Unashamedly biased, usually low-budget and brutally honest, these are basically fans with microphones, and they have given us some of the most iconic moments in Scottish football.

Ahead of the weekend’s matches, we preview an obscure match-up between two win-less sides, a massive cup derby and a battle between two promoted sides with contrasting styles and fortunes.

The race to secure the bragging rights in The Banker, and take home the Eamonn Brophy Trophy for Christmas, is hotting up. This week’s stipulation has the panel scouring the TV listings to find a team that hasn’t featured live on our screens this season.
