Len Pennie is joined by poet laureate Simon Armitage to hear about his current poetry collection, New Cemetery, and Justine Beverley shares her debut single, Passenger Seat.

Comedian and ventriloquist Paul Zerdin, the winner of America’s Got Talent in 2015, joins Len ahead of appearing in Dumfries.

Poet, playwright, musician and novelist Simon Armitage discusses his new poetry collection – New Cemetery – which sees him contemplate the death of his father, and he performs one of the poems about his dad.

Justine Beverley’s music blends American country with Scottish folk and a touch of French pop. Len talks to her about her upcoming gig in her hometown of Dundee and her bilingual songwriting, and we will be adding her new single, Passenger Seat, to Len’s Arts Mixtape.
