Glasgow 850

Anna Massie marks the city of Glasgow's 850th anniversary through folk music and song.

As the city of Glasgow marks its 850th anniversary, Anna looks back at the history of traditional and folk music in the Dear Green Place.

She heads on a tour with Fiona Shepherd from Glasgow Music City Tours to see some of the sites linked to the folk scene. She also hears about how the scene has developed over the years with musician Finlay Allison.

And we have track choices and chat with Findlay Napier, Jenn Butterworth, Mairi MacMillan and more!
