Dougie is in the East Neuk of Fife, where he meets the farming sisters who have stopped selling through supermarkets and are doing it for themselves. Cammy and his sheepdog Spot meet the crop scientists working on the robot dog of the future, and Rosie is in Easter Ross to see how archaeologists are investigating the underwater secrets of a lost crannog. In Caithness, Dougie finds out why one young farmer chose British Blondes as her cattle breed, and Anne is on the wild and remote island of Gometra to meet its shepherd.
