Daisy invites Charlie to join her at an art deco Everyman cinema, originally built in 1937, just outside the famous city walls of York - said to be the most haunted city in Europe. The building retains many of its original features and perhaps even some of the original inhabitants, particularly those who may have enjoyed watching the latest film releases back in the day.

Later, they head to the Golden Fleece pub, overlooking the Shambles in the heart of historic York, which is reported to be home to a variety of ghosts, including a Canadian airman from the Second World War.
