It’s a battle of best friends on today's episode. In Derbyshire, two teams scour a bustling antiques centre before their items go under the hammer in Lincolnshire.

Natasha Raskin Sharp visits the Nottinghamshire birthplace of novelist DH Lawrence, one of the most influential writers of the early 20th century. She learns of his humble upbringing and how he courted controversy for his literature and relationship with Frieda Weekley.

Across the border at an antiques centre in Derbyshire, Natasha hosts two teams of bargain-hunting best friends. In red are Lindsay and Joy, who are on the lookout for pottery, jewellery and gardenalia. Their opponents in blue are longtime pals Hilary and Siobhan, who met as police cadets when they were both 16. They hope their enthusiasm and passion for antiques will help them to win.

Alongside expert Irita Marriott, the reds are quick to ponder a trio of colourful pottery vases, but Irita is put off by the price tags! Across the centre, the blue team and their expert, John Cameron, flag down a vintage teddy bear dressed as a breakdown mechanic, but they’re unconvinced he’ll drive up any profits.

Then, it’s full speed ahead to Grantham, where auctioneer Colin Young is ready to sell the teams’ items at auction. Who will come out on top when the final gavel falls?
