A trip to the library, visiting a special kitchen and gurning for a new dog!

Helen Mark presents BBC Radio Ulster’s weekly Ulster-Scots magazine show this week alongside Willie Hill, Jonnie Crawford and Rab Lennox.
Jonnie chats to Julie Andrews, Director of the historic Linen Hall Library about some of the Ulster-Scots treats within it’s walls – and some exciting events coming up including their annual Ulster-Scots writing competition. Helen is up in Larne and into the kitchen of Denise Weir for a bit of traditional Ulster Scots fare, food stories and demonstrations she has shared with folk around the world. Willie chats to the head honcho of a very musical family and there’s a great yarn from friend of the show Elaine McFeeters – who remembers getting her first dog!
As always, listeners are invited to contact the programme with a good Ulster-Scots yarn or event to talk about. The easiest way to do that is by email - [email protected].
