The 2025 Doc’ N Roll Film Festival is back in the UK and Ireland for its 12th year, and Cerys shines a spotlight on the documentary – “Big Mama Thornton: I Can’t Be Anyone But Me” which has its premiere this week in London. The film is directed by Robert Clem, and it looks into the life and career of the blues icon Willie Mae 'Big Mama' Thornton, as well as the culture and history of Alabama and the Deep South.

Plus, there's music from the likes of Joe Bonamassa, Eric Bibb and Erin Harpe.
