It’s crash, bang, wallop on this edition of Bargain Hunt from Southwell Racecourse in Nottinghamshire, where Natasha Raskin Sharp checks out an impressive collection of vintage cash registers. Collector Andrew Rae has so many, he’s turned his home into a museum. Hoping to cash in with a few deals of their own are sisters Helen and Catherine on the red team and friends Emma and Lizzie on the blue team.
First to spot a potential purchase is Helen, but her expert Phil Serrell pours cold water on a pair of porcelain pooches. For the blues, expert Roo Irvine likes a gold and diamond ring, but the team aren’t seduced by the sparkles. Then it’s over to auctioneer Richard Winterton to wield his gavel, but which team will come out on top?
