Dougie sets sail from North Berwick to the Bass Rock, home to thousands of gannets. He discovers how these birds are making a recovery after being devastated by avian flu. Meanwhile, Rosie is on the water nearby to take part in a paddleboard rescue with the RNLI. She hears how call-outs have surged as paddleboarding has become increasingly popular.
Elsewhere, Arlene is on Lewis to meet the crofter who thinks we should all be putting mutton on our plates. Entomologist Leanna Fernandez is in Braemar to look for Scotland's rarest moth, the mountain burnet, and Anne meets a farming couple on Islay who have traded the farm machinery for wildlife, running their farm with nature in mind.
