The World Athletics Championships bid farewell to Tokyo, but not before Great Britain’s Olympic champion Keely Hodgkinson has a chance to add world gold to her collection. Despite missing almost the whole season though injury, she will be the favourite to turn world silver into gold this time round.

And world champions will be crowned in the decathlon, the women’s high jump, the men’s discus and the men’s 5,000m, where George Mills could challenge for a place on the podium.
