It’s the final day of the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, and all eyes will be on Great Britain’s Olympic 800m champion Keely Hodgkinson. Despite missing almost the whole season through injury, she goes into the final as favourite after running the fastest time of 2025 in her comeback race just three weeks ago. World gold is the one medal missing from her collection, and training partner Georgia Hunter Bell will be hoping for a place alongside her in the final as well.

More medal chances for the British team come in the four relay finals, with world champions to be crowned in the decathlon, the women’s high jump, the men’s discus and the men’s 5,000m, where George Mills could challenge for a place on the podium.

For the final time at these championships, Jeanette Kwakye is joined in the studio by former Olympic heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis-Hill and Keely Hodgkinson’s coach Jenny Meadows. Commentary comes from Steve Cram, Steve Backley, Andrew Cotter, Colin Jackson, Paula Radcliffe and Stef Reid.
