'How would I know I had an Australian Peacock Spider?'
Alan suggests playing The Bee Gees to Australian spiders.
“Yesterday you devoted a lot of the show to spiders,” says Alan in Carryduff. “You're a bit scared of them?”
“I am indeed,” Sean says.
“On lunchtime TV news today it featured the Australian Peacock Spider,” says Alan. “Cambridge scientists are looking into them."
“I don’t like what’s coming.”
“If you got one in your living room in Derry you'd need to put on the tune, Staying Alive, because that's what they dance to.”
“Wait a minute, Alan. How would I know I had an Australian Peacock Spider?” says Sean. “By his accent?”
With music from The Beatles, John Prine, Mike Oldfield, and more.
