“I’ve got a foolproof way to stop spiders getting into the house,” says Big Walter. He says it’s foolproof.
“This is the part of the programme I feel like Valerie singleton on Blue Peter,” Sean says. “Here’s Big Walter’s instructions: you need an empty spray bottle. And peppermint oil—but this is where it falls down as far as I’m concerned—to mix spider repellent you start with peppermint oil—”
“I wouldn’t have a clue where to go for that!” Sean says.
“Then you add between three and five drops to the spray bottle, fill with water, and add a small amount of liquid dish soap.”
“How do you add dish soap,” Sean says, “if it’s full?”
“Apply to the entry points… and shake the bottle before each spray. It works a treat.”
“A spider bit my boyfriend on the ankle,” says Yvonne. “He had to get an antibiotic from the doctor.“
