Poetry Please - The End of Summer

Daljit Nagra selects Poetry Please: The End of Summer presented by Roger McGough. From 2007.

Poet Daljit Nagra revisits the BBC's poetry archive and selects Poetry Please: The End of Summer.

Roger McGough presents poems on themes reflecting summer's end such as enjoying the garden, working the land and preparing for the inevitable return to school.

He also looks at a collection of artwork drawn especially for him by a class of primary school pupils who were inspired by one of his own poems.
