Zurich, Day 1

It’s the first night of competition from Zurich as the 2025 Diamond League season reaches its climax and the live athletics heads to the streets.

The Sechseläutenplatz in the centre of the Swiss city turns into an athletics stadium for one night only, with the pole vault world record holder, Mondo Duplantis, topping the billing. The Olympic women’s high jump gold and silver medallists, Yaroslava Mahuchikh and Nicola Olyslagers, are also in action.
