'What was the Half Door Club?'

Sean is trying to remember a local TV programme called The Half Door Club.

“There was a local programme,” Sean says, “called The Half Door Club. But I can’t remember a thing about it!”
“The Half Door Club - I remember the name so well!” says Iris in Ballyclare. “Was it the show from Scotland? It had Kenneth McKellar, Moira Anderson and Andy Stewart?”
“I think,” says Bobby in Belfast, “it’s The White Heather Club that she's thinking of!”
“Your memory serves you right,” says Andy Allen. “There WAS a BBC programme called The Half Door Club presented by Peter Tomelty and his wife Gertie Wine. Peter was a brother of the famous actor, Joe Tomelty.”
With music from Cliff Bennett and the Rebel Rousers, Sam Cooke, Stevie Wonder, and more.
