'You’re the right height for a jockey!'
Sean remembers the time he had no sense and bet on horses.
“You know when you’ve no sense?” says Sean. “I would back a horse or two. My bet was a three bob cross and a two bob treble, old money. Geoff Lewis was one of the ones I was betting on, a very successful jockey who has passed away. He told a story that he was working in a hotel in London when a famous jockey came in and told him, ‘You’re the right height for a jockey, and you have the strength! I can get you a job in a stable.’ And the rest is history.”
With music from The Beatles, Bryan Adams, Gilbert O’Sullivan, and more.
