Plaid Cymru at 100

As Plaid Cymru celebrates its 100th anniversary, BBC journalist James Williams explores its successes and failures, and asks what comes next in Wales’s changing political landscape.

Plaid Cymru, the Welsh nationalist party, was created 100 years ago, and has developed from a Welsh language pressure group to a major political party.

It has played a major role in Wales’s cultural and political life and, as part of the campaign for devolution, changed the political fabric of the UK.

With the help of a range of contributors, including Dafydd Wigley, Ieuan Wyn Jones and Neil Kinnock, BBC Wales political journalist James Williams explores Plaid’s successes and failures, and asks what comes next in Wales’s changing political landscape.
