Sophie and Veronika track down the son of Mr Finch, the sex pest boss whose advances were rejected by both Alice and teenage Rose. A plan is concocted to request his DNA and have it tested to establish if Mr Finch might have been Enigma's father. Meanwhile, Margie brings the family together to start preparations for their big, public anniversary party, thrown every year in honour of Enigma’s arrival into the fold. Sophie attempts to host a dinner for Zeke, Veronika and Audrey, but will the social experiment work out? Sophie and Callum end up attending the same pool party. Meanwhile, Grace has increasingly vivid visions of her family life without her.
