From the street kids with few choices to families making homes amongst the graves of the city’s notorious North Cemetery, Ashley discovers how gang life has changed in the Philippines and what factors still drive young men to join them.
Ashley also explores the legacy of the former president Rodrigo Duterte's war on drugs that left thousands dead and more locked up in the Philippines' overcrowded jail and prison system.
He meets former gang captains and current gang members from a faction of the TBS Crew and heads inside a jail to discover some surprising truths about gang culture behind bars.
