Athene Seyler

Veteran working actress Athene Seyler talks to Bamber Gascoigne about her long career in the theatre.

She was born in London in 1889 and made her stage debut in 1909.

Just before this recording, Athene had completed a run of Arsenic and Old Lace in London's West End with Sybil Thorndike.
