Celtic Connections Studio Session

Anna Massie with a session programme recorded as part of Celtic Connections. We're joined by three amazing acts who play for us in the BBC Pacific Quay Studios.

A bumper session programme recorded at the end of Celtic Connections 2025.

Anna is joined in the studio by Beth Malcolm and some of the members of her Folkmosis Band. Beth's latest album of the same name is an autobiographical tale taking in many of her musical influences.

Newcastle based duo Janice Burns and Jon Doran bring the traditional and the contemporary with their beautiful arrangements of folk songs old and new.

And the incredible cello and fiddle pairing of Alice Allen and Alastair Savage play tracks from their latest album, Where the Good Ship Lands.
