Kim Wilde - Chat & Full Set

Pop icon Kim Wilde performs alongside the BBC Concert Orchestra live from BBC Maida Vale studios for Radio 2’s Piano Room Month.

In Radio 2's Piano Room today it's Kim Wilde, whose debut single 'Kids In America' firmly established her as a pop powerhouse in the 80s. Kim performs three tracks - including a special Crowded House cover - from the BBC's iconic Maida Vale studios, all accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra.

Kim Wilde says: “I’m a big fan of Radio 2’s Piano Room performances, so it’s a real honour to be asked to do this! We’re really looking forward to it!”

Back for its fourth year, Radio 2's Piano Room Month sees globally famous, award-winning artists perform three tracks - a new song, one of their well-known numbers, and an unexpected cover version - all accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra.
