'I pulled the plug on my headphones!'

“Why isn’t Johnny Cash singing?” Sean says. The introduction to Johnny Cash’s song, Ring of Fire, is playing, but Sean can’t hear it. He stops Johnny and plays The Bellamy Brothers. He can’t hear them either. He plays something else. He can’t hear it. He plays a CD of I’ll Tell Me Ma, by Sham Rock, and lets it play to the end.
“Let me tell you what happened,” Sean says. “I pulled the plug on my headphones. I had it wrapped around the chair! I couldn’t hear a thing.”
“You're in some form the day Coylers!” says Torso. “I think you need a wee white wine to sort that all out.”
“I’m burning a bit of oil today,” Sean says. “I think my big end’s gone.”
