Join Radio 2’s Paddy McGuinness every pedal of the way on his gruelling 300-mile, ultra-endurance cycle challenge for BBC’s Children in Need.

This film gives a behind-the-scenes view of the arduous challenge and Paddy’s candid thoughts as he takes to the road on a specially modified Chopper with a plan to ride across three nations and eight counties from Wrexham to Glasgow, raising funds and awareness along the way for Children in Need.

As he prepares for the ride of his life, a buoyant Paddy partakes in ice baths, training sessions with Sir Chris Hoy and visits to the children whom his fundraising will help. But as Paddy begins to work his way across the UK, his resolve is sorely tested, and even with his fellow Radio 2 buddies, special guests and the public cheering him on along the way, the five-day, 300-mile bike ride across all terrains amidst the November weather begins to feel unsurmountable.

For Paddy, however, this challenge is personal.
