Sea Eagles and the Gower Loaf

Seeking public opinion on bringing back White-tailed Eagles after 150 year absence and bread making on the Gower peninsula

White-tailed Eagles (or Sea Eagles) would've been a common sight in our skies 150 years ago but now a new project is assessing the social and ecological feasibility of reintroducing them to the south east of Wales and the Severn Estuary.

The Gower loaf - restablishing a sustainable, community, culinary heritage loaf of bread. A project at the Gower Heritage Centre is hoping to revive the tradition of growing barley on the peninsula, process and grind it at the 12th century water mill and then bake it as part of a community venture.
