Builth Wells 15

The green, green hills of mid Wales are the setting for this episode. At a huge antiques fair in the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells, two teams of friends each hunt for three collectibles to sell at auction, hopefully for a profit.

On the red team are Ali and Gilly from Wiltshire, who met through historical re-enactments. Hoping to lead them to victory in this battle is expert Kate Bliss. In blue are pals Karl and Malcolm, who met at an online pub quiz. They’re captained by expert Izzie Balmer.

With 60 minutes on the clock, Ali spots a modern globe, but Kate’s not convinced it will deliver a profit. Over with the blues, an impromptu game of bagatelle costs the team valuable time, and a police truncheon has an arresting effect on them.

Danny has an intriguing mystery object to show fairgoers before he joins auctioneer Gareth Wasp in Royal Wootton Bassett to see two musical bonus buys go under the hammer.
