The Revd Eryl Parry
A service led by the Revd Eryl Parry, pioneer priest at Bangor archdeaconry.
The evening edition of the programme includes My Favourite Hymn.
A service led by the Revd Eryl Parry; a Pioneer Priest for the Church in Wales in the Conwy Valley whose ministerial rôle is to develop new worshipping communities. One such initiative is ‘Worship in the Wild’ – a contemplative walking church that meets to worship God in the outdoors, as well as a monthly service at a small ancient church high up in the hills. In today’s service, Eryl explores an idea that has become important in their thinking: that of ‘belonging’ – whether it’s to a place, a community or even to God.
Readings:
Verses from Psalm 139.
Romans 12: 4-8
“I like this church” an unpublished poem by Andrew Rudd, broadcast with the author’s permission.
