A Cambridge Folk Festival Special

Anna Massie with a special programme recorded at Cambridge Folk Festival, featuring live sets and backstage interviews.

Cambridge Folk Festival is one of the longest running folk festivals in the world. This year, there was a strong Scottish presence, and the Travelling Folk team headed down to capture some of the music on offer as part of the Showcase Scotland Expo. We feature live sets from Hannah Rarity, Assynt, SIAN and Paul McKenna. Plus Anna soaks up the atmosphere of this very relaxed festival and learns how it has continued to support new talent, including the relatively unknown Paul Simon, who played at the first ever event in 1965.
