Prunella Gladwell comes to St Vincent's Convent to present an episode of her top-rated cookery show involving six contestants, including Sister Boniface, competing for a cash prize. Contestant Gladys Tibbs dies during the recording, and Sister Boniface determines she was poisoned by belladonna berries added to her own cake, which should have been tasted by Gladwell.
