Four top darts players battle for a place at finals night. Can they keep their cool at the oche in one of Ireland’s oldest leagues?

This Our Lives film follows the fortunes of four players as they aim for a place in the final in one of the biggest darts leagues in Europe. The city of Newry’s league is the oldest in Ireland, and Friday night is renowned as darts night. The stakes are high. Can they hold their nerve to make it to the oche on gala night?

We meet Paul, who has overcome 12 years of dartitis, a psychological condition that nearly ended his love of the sport. He’s hoping to take his team into the final and retain their trophy. Grandmother-of-11 Anna got into darts after her divorce. Can she make the ladies' final and add another trophy to her cabinet?

Joiner Dylan took on darts superstar Luke Littler last year and has aspirations to turn pro, but can he make his mark in Budapest to move up the European rankings? Martin has a life-limiting illness but has played for 50 years and won’t let anything stop him. He’s aiming to be fit to take to the stage on finals night and play the sport that means everything to him.

Will the dedication and practice pay off, or will they lose their nerve and place in the league’s marquee event?
