Recently widowed DC Ember Manning suspects there’s a predator targeting underage girls. She finds herself reflecting on the age difference between herself and her late husband.
A year on from her husband’s death, new detective Ember Manning is called to an arson attack. The investigation that follows brings Ember into contact with an underage pregnant girl, who Ember suspects has been seeing an older man. When a true crime podcaster, in town to investigate a cold missing persons case, tells Ember that the older man is actually a serial predator, Ember finds herself reflecting upon the age difference between her and her late husband.
