Miriam Margolyes explores the colourful characters in Perth, Western Australia, in search of fun, her own identity and lessons from people carving their paths to success.
In her London home, Miriam is recovering from a recent heart procedure which has left her feeling more vulnerable. In a bid to adapt to this 'new Miriam', she returns to Australia, a place she considers her second home – and a country that, for her, still holds the promise of fun, inspiration and a better future.
Her first stop is Perth, the capital of Western Australia, where she meets a host of local characters, gets out of her comfort zone and learns from people carving their own paths to success.
